RE-REVIEWING AFTER PURCHASING 8:For context, I left a review right away as I really thought these blankets were amazing and were going to change my senior girls quality of life. A month or so on I realize when I work from my sofa it smells badly of strong urine where I put my senior dog on the blanket – on the middle spot. I removed the blanket smelled the whole cushion and the majority of it smells BADLY of urine. I then tested the blanket and THE WATER SOAKED RIGHT THROUGH TO THE OTHER SIDE AND ON MY HANDS IN SECONDS. My sofa never smelled before the blankets and stupidly thought I was safe to use them as they are advertised as 100% waterproof.I legit want my money back.I really am so upset and to be honest, furious, about this and want to save people the trouble and heartache. These things aren’t expensive but they aren’t cheap either and now I have 8 of them that are worthless and useless. I have worked so hard for my home and I try keep my things nice knowing I cannot afford a new sofa for the next few years (that and it’s only 3 or 4 years old), and yet don’t want to compromise my senior girls life by being kept away off the sofa or my bed because of her incontinence. Huge dissapointment and no recourse for me or the seller. I guess I’ll reach out to Amazon..LOVE these blankets for my senior dog whose incontinent. I’ve washed them a few times already and they held up perfectly in the w/d. They’re a decent size for my girl (they cover the sofa’s middle seat/cushion and then a little extra either side) and they are super absorbent and soft and lovely colors.
