This course will take you from a WinOLS beginner or WinOLS novice user level, and give you a thorough grounding in all the key concepts and all the key processes in the practical use of WinOLS. Detailed course overview   Day 1 – ECU Structures, Maps & Using Existing Files  What’s covered: Key gasoline ECU logic and structure across major platforms  Key gasoline map groups Identifying and grouping maps using WinOLS patterns and structures  Using existing tuned files from a WinOLS database  You will learn: How gasoline ECUs calculate load, fuel and ignition timing How to quickly identify the core tuning maps for NA and turbo petrol engines How to reuse and adapt existing calibrations  How to build clean, professional project structures   Day 2 – Power, Ignition, Knock, Boost – Maps & Tuning in WinOLS What’s covered: Power enrichment and other control strategies Spark advance mapping, octane-based maps, and knock control logic  Turbo calibration fundamentals You will learn: How to tune key maps How to optimise ignition timing  How to tune turbo gasoline engines in WinOLS safely and effectively    Day 3 – Practical WinOLS Workflows What’s covered:  Workflows for NA and turbo gasoline engines  Pre-tune checks Final project documentation and clean WinOLS versioning You will learn: How to build a complete gasoline calibration How to produce clean, safe, well-documented WinOLS projects ready for real-world use   Learning outcomes of the course  By the end of the 3 days, you will be able to:  Confidently navigate the WinOLS software program and features Practise smart and efficient database management Take a logical approach to map identification and creation Identify the key maps in a gasoline ECU Understand the important ECU strategies for OEM power delivery Deliver complete, safe, well-structured gasoline calibrations at a basic working level   Prerequisites and what you need to bring with you You need to bring a laptop with genuine up-to-date EVC WinOLS software installed and running smoothly.
